Since 1998, I have taken complex things and made them simple.

This all began when I started trying to help people make smarter decisions with their money. I'd do my best to explain a concept only to get blank stares in return. One day, in an act of desperation I grabbed a nearby Sharpie and a piece of paper and sketched out the concept. Suddenly, everything changed. People understood, and I was hooked on seeing that happen.

Since 2010, these "shortcuts and souvenirs" sketches seem to have started a lot of conversations. They have taken up a weekly slot in the New York Times and all other major international newspapers, along with illustrating books. And most unexpectedly, allowed me to become an international solo exhibitor… now that’s a story for another time.
